UFOn and UFOn International

Introduction

UFOn, the UFO network, is primarily an internet based initiative designed to provide support, structure and an information base to unify local grassroots efforts in UFO research.  This group is intended to function across all political and geographical boundaries and will remain a neutral scientific organization. Affiliate organizations will remain completely independent, but will have access to the resources of the parent organization.

In a field where information is often corrupted and people are consistently isolated from their peers, support is a huge issue.  UFOn will help small organizations get on their feet and running by providing systems they can use; and create a global support system that we can all pull on.   Working as individuals we are set up for failure, but en masse we have the wisdom and strength of many to pull from. We must support each other; UFOn will provide the conduit for that to happen.

Good organization and structure is the key to a successful local group.   Very often individuals do not know how to begin organizing a local interest or support group. UFOn will provide a basic structure and suggested guidelines that can act as a starting point. Once a group is established, it can pull from UFOn's collective resources to further increase the effectiveness of the group.

Information is the key purpose to any research organization. As an internet based organization, UFOn will be able to easily collect and distribute information, taking advantage of the mass visibility and accessibility that the internet provides.  Web pages will serve as information sources for specific UFO information. Local groups will be able to post their own related sites and utilize the visibility of the larger parent organization to their own benefit. Shared resources, libraries and statistics will be available on the internet and will act as a central collection point to make information access easier and more efficient.
